Lawn Grass Plug Prices - Seedland has published this guide to help you calculate the total cost, including UPS ground
Shipping, of your grass plug order. The chart below contains the prices of all the plugs varieties we sell -- they are all priced the same -- including UPS ground shipping for plug
order quantities of 1 to 50 orders or 26 to 1800 plugs. A grass plug pricing chart for 51 to 100 orders can be found here. Pricing shown below are for these grass plug varieties: Bermuda, Centipede,
Saint Augustine's and Zoysia Plugs.
Each plug is 3 inches x 3 inches square.
NOTE:
Orders of 10 or more qualify for our
10% discount --- included below in pricing schedule.
Our plugs are larger (3 inches x 3 inches each!) than what
some companies sell thus resulting in more successful
establishment rates.
2013 LAWN GRASS PLUG
PRICES
LISTED BELOW ARE PRICES FOR 3"x 3" PLUGS
(36 per order). The cost of grass plugs is $19.95 per order + UPS shipping
charges.
UPS Ground shipping is $23.50 for the first order PLUS
$14.00 for each additional order. We offer a 10% discount on orders of 10 or more of the same plug variety placed at the same time. This discount is reflected in the pricing charts we have published here.
Shipping is based on average weight of 28 lbs. per order
(weight varies 24 to 35 lbs. due to amount of moisture in plug soil)
Sales tax is charged on shipments within Florida. Quantities of 10 or more
receive a 10% discount changing your price to $16.15
each order.
Note: Some varieties may occasionally be listed as out of stock.
Shipping Rates quoted are for UPS Ground shipment and are
the same cost for all zip codes.

ONE ACRE OF PLUGS?There is 43,560 sq. ft. in ONE acre. A total of 24,480
plugs (680 orders) are required to plant 1 acre based on the recommended 12" diagonal pattern. For the
kind of plugs we sell, this would cost over $18,000 (plugs &
shipping). - For large lawn areas it may be economical to sod
(check with local sod / landscape companies for prices) - There are
also companies that sell smaller plugs (less expensive to
produce) at a cheaper price. It is also possible to make
your own plugs from locally purchased sod or it might
even be cheaper to sod rather than plug large areas. Of course planting grass seed would be your least expensive option.

- Based on the same pattern you would need 156 orders (5,616
plugs). Grass Plug Shipping Policy
Plugs ship on Mondays ONLY! In a few cases shipment may occur on Tuesday for orders placed
by 10AM the previous Friday. This
policy is for YOUR protection to allow for the best chance of the
plugs arriving fresh during the same week of shipment (Based on UPS
working days).

Important - Shipping Restrictions:
Due to state agricultural regulations on soils, we can not
ship our Grass Plugs to the following states:
Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, & Wyoming.
Due to shipping time constraints we do not ship any plugs outside USA mainland States.
(IE: Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska, US Islands). There are no
restrictions on seeds shipped to these states.
Shipment Dates: Our grass plugs ship
seasonally* every Monday for all orders placed the previous week.
Orders must be placed by 10 am EST on Friday in order to ship the
following week. Occasionally shipments may be delayed due to weather issues (heavy rains result in plugs too wet to ship). Since we ship orders ASAP once they are placed, please
order only if you are ready to plant.
*Note: Seedland only ships Grass Plugs during the spring months of February, March, April,
and May.
